Utility Billing and Payment Information
The North Tahoe Public Utility District provides our utility customers with a variety of utility billing and payment options to pay your water and/or wastewater bill each month. Click the buttons below to explore the option that serves you best.
IMPORTANT: All customers on auto payment are required to create a new payment method in the new online payment system –
- Register a new account on the new billing website
- Add a new payment method such as a credit card or e-check
- Then link that new payment method to setup automatic payments.
New Bill Payment Options
Automatic Bill Payments
The NTPUD’s AutoPay electronic funds transfer process can automatically deduct your monthly utility bill payment from your bank account on the date your bill is due.
With the NTPUD’s AutoPay option, you can tell us which payment method you would like to use each month (for example: debit/credit card, Apple or Google pay, e-Check connected to your bank account). The NTPUD will still send you a monthly utility bill showing the payment and due date, but you won’t need to take any action and the bill will be paid automatically.

Pay By Phone
The NTPUD offers Pay-by-Phone options that include the ability to Pay-By-Text and use mobile wallet payment systems such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

To pay your NTPUD Utility Bill in person, please stop by our office in Tahoe Vista at 875 National Avenue. Our front desk is open Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm.
We also offer a 24/7 Payment Dropbox that is located in front of our main office in Tahoe Vista.
