Sled Hills and Groomed Trails

Welcome to a winter snow play paradise. The North Tahoe Regional Park offers three areas that are groomed and maintained for sledding, 6 miles of groomed trail access, open space for snow play and a starting point for greater regional trail access.

Sledding Hills

Sunny Slope:

Located above Field #4, Sunny Slope is our steepest, fastest and longest sledding area with a beautiful lake view.

Tower Hill:

Located above the upper parking lot to the west (lookers left), Tower Hill is a smooth long downhill with a moderate pitch. Most sledders will feel comfortable sledding here.  The surrounding pines offer a break from the sun.

Mellow Meadow:

located at the main Park gate, Mellow Meadow is great for toddlers, first time sledders or anyone seeking a more tamed sledding experience. Mellow Meadow holds snow longer than the Parks other hills.
