During the fall and winter of 2024, the NTPUD launched the first phase of community outreach for improvements at Secline Beach. More than 250 residents, visitors, and other stakeholders took part through pop up events, small group conversations, and an online survey to identify what makes Secline Beach special and what changes, if any, would make it better.
We want to understand if we heard the community right and confirm the types of enhancements you want to see or not see at Secline Beach. We welcome your input and are excited to hear your thoughts.
During the first round of engagement, some people listed “parking” as an enhancement they would like to see. Although NTPUD does not have control over the public row (right of way), we would like to better understand what that means and if desired improvements are broadly supported. Please take our survey to tell us more about what you think should be done with parking at Secline Beach.
Additionally, we also heard that the NTPUD should both restrict/enforce a “No dogs” policy on the beach and also consider making Secline Beach a “Dog friendly” Beach. Take our survey to tell us which of the options you support.
