July 14, 2025 Update: This project is underway and crews are working to complete the paver section and space near the Tennis Courts and Dog Park and the Pickleball Courts. Please be cautious of construction workers in these areas of the Regional Park.
This project will provide residents and visitors in North Lake Tahoe with a unique outdoor space to gather for special occasions, community events, sports tournaments, art events and receptions, recreational programs and more. There will also be a designated area for educational and interpretive signage to help educate visitors and residents on the region’s environmental sustainability activities and opportunities.
This project is constructing two new community gathering spaces near the Tennis Courts and the Dog Park, and the Pickleball Courts. Each space is a place to gather, relax and reflect, and a place to learn and appreciate our natural environment, our history, and our cultural heritage.

Future Project Additions:
In 2026, the District aims to bring a new and exciting community element to the North Tahoe Regional Park. Once funding is secured, the District will work to procure and install the first-ever art installation in the North Tahoe Regional Park.

Funding:
This project is funded by the TOT/TBID Dollars at Work Program, the Tahoe Fund, and the NTPUD Recreation Capital Improvement Budget.
