2024 Surplus Sale

The 2024 Surplus Sale is scheduled for October 15 – 17 in Tahoe Vista, California.

NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS PUBLIC PROPERTY

Notice is hereby given that the North Tahoe Public Utility District will receive offers for vehicles and equipment previously declared surplus.

Items are sold in “as is” condition, and no representation, warranty, or guarantee is given or made as to the age, state of condition, or repair or in any manner whatsoever affecting the items sold, other than the ownership thereof. Sales or use tax, if any, shall be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Bidders may examine the property at the District offices on the following dates and times at 875 National Avenue in Tahoe Vista, California.

  • Thursday, October 10 – (10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m)
  • Tuesday, October 15 – (10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m)
  • Wednesday, October 16 – (10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m)
  • Thursday, October 17 – (10:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m)

Sealed written bids shall be delivered to and received by the District on or before 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at which time they will be opened and declared. Verbal bidding will not be allowed. All purchases must be removed by Friday, October 18, 2024, 12:00 p.m.

All payments for the bid upon items must be by cash or cashier’s check payable concurrent with award. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bidding process.
