Commemoration Program

Honor and celebrate loved ones who have had a special connection to the nature and beauty of the North Lake Tahoe parks and beaches.

The North Tahoe PUD is proud to offer this unique way to honor or celebrate family, friends, or pets who have had a special connection to the nature and beauty of the North Lake Tahoe parks and beaches.

Proceeds from this program benefit the Friends of the Park Fund, which supports continued enhancement and improvements to the North Tahoe Regional Park and the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area.

The NTPUD is proud to offer a selection of commemorative bench and stone seating locations at the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area. Options include the Lake Tahoe View Bench or Cube and the Lakeside Beach Bench.

The NTPUD is proud to offer a selection of commemorative bench locations throughout the North Tahoe Regional Park. Options include the Forest View Bench, Field View Bench, Lake View Bench, and the Friends of the Park Plaque.

Contributions for a Commemoration are made directly to the Friends of the Park Fund, a 501 (c)(3) held through the Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation. The Fund exists to finance improvement projects at District parks & facilities, and to support District residents in their involvement and participation in the District sponsored recreation events and programs

Friends of the Park is a Donor Advised Fund with the Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) public charity. All contributions to the fund are treated for tax purposes as gifts to a Section 501 (c)(3) public charity.
