Rack space reservations for NTPUD Residents will be available starting Wednesday, April 8th at 8am.

Racks are located at Tahoe Vista Recreation Area. Storage is available from May 1 – October 31.

  • Bring your own cable to lock your vessel

  • Top and bottom kayak storage racks have different dimensions

  • Please review picture to ensure your vessel will fit in reserved space

  • Upper Racks:  58” L x 20” W x 33” H

  • Lower Racks:  58” L x 20” W x 40” H

  • SUP storage requires two locker-style locks to secure vessel

  • SUP racks can fit vessels up to 8′ H

How to secure your space

Before Registration Day –

  1. Create a CivicRec account and login
  2. Be sure to use your PHYSICAL ADDRESS to qualify as a resident

8 a.m. on Registration Day –

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on >> “Facility Rentals”
  3. Click on >> “Tahoe Vista Rec Area Kayak Racks” or “Tahoe Vista Rec Area SUP Racks”
  4. Scroll down to map area with dots
  5. Change date in date range to 4/16/2026
  6. Hit refresh button
  7. Green circles are open. Red circles are already reserved. Yellow circles mean vessel is in someone elses’ cart, but not yet reserved.
  8. Select which space you would like to reserve for the season by clicking on any Green or yellow Icon
  9. Review the rack dimensions and locations
  10. Click >> “Add to Cart” (Green button). RESIDENT DISCOUNTS WILL APPEAR ONCE THE ITEM IS IN YOUR CART.
  11. Click >> “Checkout” (the Blue button)
  12. Agree to the Photo Release, General Liability Waiver, and Vessel Information Prompt
  13. Make your payment
