There are three beautiful group picnic areas located in the North Tahoe Regional Park that can accommodate a wide variety of groups, celebrations, and individual family picnics and special events. Rates vary depending on group size and residency status.

  • Resident: Renter lives within North Tahoe PUD boundaries
  • Non-Resident: Nonprofit and Non-Commercial Rental in which the renter lives outside of the North Tahoe PUD boundaries.  Non-Profit certificate must be emailed to [email protected]
  • Commercial: For profit business and out of area tournaments
  • Regional Partner: Registered nonprofit located in the North Lake Tahoe, Palisades Tahoe or Truckee region, and whose event provides a recreation benefit to NTPUD residents.  Regional Partners must fill out application

  • Field 4 is a recently constructed, meticulously maintained synthetic turf field
  • Cleared from snow in the winter, providing access to play 12 months a year
  • Full field dimensions are 360’ x 230’, with a 25’ sideline/ warmup area
  • NCAA regulations and lines for soccer and lacrosse
  • Bleachers and on field viewing area
  • Player benches
  • Dedicated parking area
  • One mile from Lake Tahoe

Yes, there is a parking fee.  Fee is waived for organized youth sport practice with reservation.  Current parking fee rate can be found here.
Rentals open on October 1 for the following calendar year.
A two week minimum is required for rentals.
The turf field is in high demand during the months of March and April. Regional Partners will get priority of field use, and each team will receive a minimum of one practice a week. Spring season high school athletics receive priority and multi-rentals a week.
Depending on the size of the winter storm, a portion of the field is typically available by 3pm. Staff will alert renters by 1pm on field closure or portion of the field available.
We use a variety of snow removal equipment. It is a long and hard process that is a labor of love for the community we serve. In general, it takes about 1 hour to remove 3” of snow off the field.
No, not typically. The amount of snow that has fallen will dictate the portion of the field that is accessible. Typically, staff will try to maintain a 300’ x 150’ space for winter play.
