Constructed in 2024, the North Tahoe Pickleball Courts are the nicest public courts on this side of the Sierra Nevada. Six separated courts with ample space to play safely and relaxed. Open seasonally, typically from May-October.

  • The North Tahoe Pickleball Courts are asphalt courts, featuring fenced separation, ample space between courts and fences for play, shade, benches and California Corners.
  • Courts are accessed via the Aspen ADA path.
  • Bounce back Ball Wall available for practice & self-play.
  • Lights are available on courts for play at dusk. (See FAQs for instructions on how to turn the lights on.)

  • Water fountains and bottle filling station available outside courts.
  • Gathering space for group activity available outside courts on a first come first serve or rentable basis.

Rates

Pickleball Courts 4, 5 & 6 are available for rental on an hourly basis while Courts 1, 2 & 3 are designated first-come, first-serve. The entire Pickleball Facility can be made available for tournaments, fundraisers or commercial use.

FAQ

  • No skateboards, rollerblades, scooters or other wheels on court (wheelchairs, walkers, or other medical equipment allowed).
  • No food, glass or pets allowed on courts
  • Children under 12 need adult supervision
  • Special permits required for tournaments, lessons or other commercial activity.
No, the ball wall is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Court reservations are available but not required. Courts 4-6 are available for reservation. If you are playing on Courts 4-6 and presented with a reservation permit, you must vacate the courts.

Yes. The NTPUD hosts two outdoor tournaments a year, in both May and September. For more information on the current tournament information, visit #######.
Pickleball goes on in the winter months at the Boys and Girls Club North Lake Tahoe on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 am-1 pm.

Yes. NTPUD offers beginner clinics on the first Saturday of most months. Look at our current Activity Guide or registration site for more information.

The tennis and pickleball courts are designed for play during the early evening and not outside of park hours.  The light timer is located on the Tennis Court side, next to the drinking fountain.  See pictures below.
