Athletic Fields

The North Tahoe Regional Park includes five fields that are available for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and other field sports. The large soccer and lacrosse synthetic turf field is cleared of snow and open during the winter, weather and conditions permitting.

All of the fields in the North Tahoe Regional Park are available for rent to District residents and the general public. Please fill out and submit the rental application forms below to [email protected] if you are interested in renting a field.

Ball Fields & Multipurpose Field

The District maintains three softball/baseball fields and one multi-use field.

All-Seasons Synthetic Turf Soccer & Lacrosse Field

This all-season synthetic turf field is available for rent  on a first come, first served basis for pickup games. The field is lined for full field play and for lacrosse.

Key Locations on the Map

  • Park Entrance: Located on the south side of the map, along Donner Road.

Fields

  • Field 1: Southwest of the park, near the park entrance, shaped like a baseball diamond.
  • Field 2: Just north of Field 1, also a baseball/softball diamond.
  • Field 3: North of Field 2, larger in size, adjacent to accessible parking spaces.
  • Field 4: In the northeast corner of the park, a rectangular multi-use field for soccer or other sports.
  • Field 5: Northwest area, a baseball/softball diamond, located near the Home Run Loop trail.

Trails and Paths

  • Home Run Loop: A looping trail in the northwest section of the park, encircling Field 5.
  • Treetop Path: Connects Field 5 to the main road.
  • Aspen ADA Path: Accessible path starting near Field 1 and running north toward Field 5.
  • Birdie Path: Connects Field 4 to the main road.

Amenities

  • Restrooms: Located near Field 1 (southwest corner) and near Field 5 (north area).
  • Picnic Areas: Scattered along trails and near Fields 1, 2, and 5.
  • Playgrounds: Mainly near Fields 1 and 5.
  • Tennis Courts: Southwest of the park, next to Field 1, with adjacent parking and restrooms.
  • Trash and Recycling Bins: Scattered throughout the park.

Parking

  • Multiple parking areas are located near:
    • Field 1 (southwest corner)
    • Fields 2 and 3 (center area with designated wheelchair-accessible spaces)
    • Field 5 (north end)
  • Accessible parking spots are clearly marked near Field 3 and other central areas.

Other Information

  • A “Maintenance Road” runs along the southeast boundary of the park with no public access.
  • The park is surrounded by forested areas and bordered by Donner Road on the south.
