Spring Park Operations Update –
The Regional Park has quickly transitioned to spring conditions. There is still some snow and sledding available at the Mellow Meadow Sled Hill, but the majority of the park is melted out. Enjoy a beautiful walk in the woods or time on our grassy fields that are ready for play!
- Tennis & Pickleball Courts will open on Wednesday, April 1
- Tahoe Vista Kayak and Paddleboard storage registration for residents opens Wednesday, April 8th at 8a.m.
- Tahoe Vista Boat Launch is scheduled to open on Memorial Day weekend

Our Recreation & Parks Facilities
The North Tahoe Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Department owns and operates the North Tahoe Regional Park, the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area, and the North Tahoe Event Center. Our staff maintain these facilities and a majority of the public beaches in the North Lake Tahoe area, between Dollar Hill and Crystal Bay. We also offer a variety of recreation programs, activities, and community enrichment classes for all ages and abilities.
