The North Tahoe Event Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Parks & Facilities Maintenance Worker I or II to support the day-to-day upkeep of the facility. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready facility by performing general building maintenance, event set-ups and breakdowns, minor repairs, cleaning, and equipment operation to support everything from weddings and community events to daily building upkeep. The role includes both entry-level (I) and journey-level (II) responsibilities, with opportunities to take on more independence as experience grows. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude are essential.

Full-time, year-round with excellent benefit package (summary of benefits here) that includes CalPERS pension program, District-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents, $3,500 annual contribution to HRA, 12 paid holidays, paid time-off (sick, personal, vacation), long-term disability and group life insurance. The District will also support the employee’s certification process.
